Quilter's Destination Will Be Closing This Fall!!

Quilter's Destination will be closing this fall! Patti, Our owner, is retiring and unfortunately that means the store will be closing. In order to facilitate an orderly going out of business sale, we will be shutting down on-line ordering on September 1, 2023. I am sorry, but we just cannot keep up with on-line and brick and mortar sales during a closing sale!

This means on September 1, all on-line shopping is turned off. You will still be able to see our website, but inventory will not be at all current any longer and you will not be able to purchase anything. Check-out is disabled. It might look like you can order, but you cannot.

Our in store closing sale begins Tuesday, September 5, 2023. The entire brick and mortar shop will be 25% off. We will increase discounts over time until all our merchandise has been sold. There is a chance that we will have a significant amount of inventory at the end and we may activate on-line shopping once again if this happens, so watch this space for future developments!

In the meantime, it has been my sincere pleasure to serve our quilting community for 17 years. Thank-you for all your years of support! We would not have been here without you! Retiring is very bittersweet. You guys are my tribe, and I will miss all of you very much!

I wish you all the best and hope you continue to find your creative muses! Take care and Happy Quilting!

A little about Janome…

It seems many sewists are unfamiliar with The Janome Sewing Machine Company.  A lot of folks walk into the shop and say the name as if they are referring to a biology experiment.  I explain that the name is not “genome.”  It’s “Ja-NO-me.”  Just think, “‘Janome' is to love me.”Janome merged with the well-established New Home Sewing Machine Company in 1960. The merger makes Janome the second-oldest sewing machine manufacturer in the world—only two years younger than Singer.

Janome is always on the forefront of ingenuity. For instance, because their embroidery machine robotics are so reliable, the design has been copied by other industries for use in a variety of precision applications.
While Janome technology is impressive, the company won’t simply add the latest gimmick at the expense of sacrificing quality. Every feature is engineered for reliable operation. Janome sewing machines are incredibly dependable, with the lowest failure rates in the industry.

Today, Janome delivers the most powerful, sophisticated home machines on the market, with patented technology and industry-leading software.  With computer models that consistently stand out for their ease of use and precise stitch results, Janome ensures their products will continue to inspire creativity.
